August 16 NFA "Kentucky Connection": Campbellsville University Flute Ensemble, directed by Dr. Lisa McArthur, will perform during Flute Ensemble Showcase 3 (1:30 p.m.)
August 16 NFA "Kentucky Connection": Sonny Burnette's (Georgetown College) newest music will be performed during Flute Ensemble Showcase 4 (3:00 p.m.)

October 16 Rhonda Larson, Grammy Award-winning flutist, will perform at the University of Louisville School of Music's Comstock Hall at 7:00 p.m. Admission is free. The concert title is: Precious Metal, Crystal and Wood--an Evening of Flute Music with Rhonda Larson and her Virtual Band. Ms. Larson will give a flute masterclass immediately following the concert. Everyone is invited, and participants are instructed to dress comfortably for body stretching/workout, and to bring their flutes and a readiness to try something new.
