Gemeinhardt Model #22SP, serial #J11573 Silver plated head, body and C foot. Silver plated, plateau style keys. Includes cleaning rod and case but the case is pretty used. There is one tiny scratch in the head joint other than that it is in perfect condition. It plays beautifully for a beginner flute. Open-hole flute with a low B footjoint , an in-line G and a sterling silver head, body and foot with sterling silver keys. The following is engraved on the body: Gemeinhardt, Hand Crafted, Sterling, 3SS, Made in Elkhart, Ind. There are also very small delicate engravings on the head joint which read Gemeinhardt, initials which I think are KGG and Elkhart Ind. Comes with its original French-style hard shell case, Naugahyde (or leather?) carrying case and cleaning rod. Made in late 1970's. In storage since 1982. After sitting for 23 years, I expect it needs new pads and/or at least adjustments. The flute is in excellent condition with no dents or dings, just light scratches. In L.A., CA.
